In Taunton, December 21, 2012 Bernard J. Lucey son of the late James and Katherine (Baran) Lucey died at Morton Hospital at the age of 89. Bernard was born in Taunton and was a graduate of Coyle High School class of 1942. After high school, Bernard joined the US Navy serving from 1943-1946. Bernard was a retired manager of the Seminole Lounge in Hialeah FL, he also was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 611 in Taunton. He was the Uncle of his loving niece and caregiver Suzanne Rannacher and her husband Bruce of Taunton, Catherine Ranks of Augusta, Maine and John Lucey of Dartmouth. Brother of the late John J. Lucey. A graveside service will be held at St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton Thursday, December 27th at 12 Noon. Arrangements by the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
