Clarence H. Hamilton
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, December 22, 2012, Mr. Clarence H. Hamilton, 77, husband of the late Mrs. Erika Hamilton.
Mr. Hamilton served in the United States Army for 20 years. He worked as a carpenter following his retirement.
Surviving family members include sons: Michael Hamilton (Joann) of Harlem, GA, Mark Hamilton (Rita) of Evans and John Hamilton of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters Rita Teter of Augusta, Bunnie Thomason (Mac) of Martinez and Heidi Galvin (Tony) of Evans; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother Bud Hamilton; and sisters: Betty Lybrook and Juanita Lee.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association at 2050 Walton Way Suite 208, Augusta, GA 30904.
