Obituary

KELLEHER,of Stoughton, Frederick J ., 87 years,died Friday March 1,2002 at the Blue Hills Alzheimers Center in Stoughton. Born and raised in Stoughton,he was a lifelong resident of the town.

He was the son of the late Daniel and Gertrude (Willis) Kelleher.He attended Stoughton schools. Fred retired in 1993 from Ark-Les Switch Co. in Stoughton,where he had been a quality control supervisor. Previously he had worked for the former Keystone Camera Co. of Dorchester and the former Panther Rubber Co. in Stoughton as a Chemist. He was also a member of the Boiler Makers Union. Fred was aVery active member of the Stoughton Historical Society. He served as the buildings custodian for many years.

Fred is survived by three sisters; Marie T. Winchester of Kingston, Margaret M. Sheehan of Canton and Rita Klim of Stoughton,two brothers; Donald R. Kelleher of Canton and Richard “Dick” Kelleher of Oceanside,CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday March 5,2002 from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton, followed by a funeral mass at 10:15 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church ,122 Canton Street Stoughton. Burial will take place in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery; also in Stoughton.

Visiting hours will be Monday March 4, 2002 from 4PM to 7PM.
