Mrs. Marie A. (Michaud) Kelly, of Taunton, died Thursday, December 20 in the Golden Living Center – Wedgemere, following a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of Paul A. Kelly, Sr. She was born 79 years ago in Boston, the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Kelly) Michaud. She was educated in Boston, graduating from Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston, and had been a Taunton resident since 1984. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a medical technician at the Chelsea Soldiers’ Home for a number of years. Mrs. Kelly was also employed in the laboratory of the G.A.R. Medical Building in Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves: 2 stepsons: Paul A. Kelly, Jr., and David P Kelly, both of Quincy; 2 sisters: Helen Ann Shamoon and Gloria Lake, both of Quincy. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Michaud.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, December 26 at 11:00 A.M. A Visiting Hour will precede the Service, Wednesday, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
