Powell, Reba Riggs, 88, passed away December 20, 2012 at Hosparus Palliative Care. Reba was born October 10, 1924 to Alex and Sarah Elizabeth Riggs in Larue County, Kentucky. She was a member of Chapel Park Baptist Church and worked for Terry Powell Auto Sales.
Reba is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Powell and brother, Shelby Riggs.
Survivors include her loving sons, Larry (Priscilla) and Terry (Rhonda) Powell; grandchildren, Sarah Cory, Chrissy Burton, Amanda Little, and Jason Ashley; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Glen Riggs; and former daughter-in-law, Patty Thomas.
Funeral service will be 11am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Friday 1-8 at the funeral home.
