Steve Wilson, 94, of Mystic, Georgia, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Graveside services will be held 11 A. M., Friday, December 21, 2012, at the Ocilla Cemetery, with the Rev. Roger Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ocilla one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Wilson was born November 29, 1918 in Berrien County, Georgia, to the late James Franklin and Maggie Lewis Wilson. A 1939 graduate of Mystic High School, he was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army. He returned to the community in 1942. Mr. Wilson was a hardworking farmer and loved to fish. He was a member of the Ocilla Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years: Semmie Dixon Wilson of Mystic, Georgia; three sons: Mike Wilson of Ocilla, David & Debbie Wilson of Douglas, Georgia and Tommy & Kim Wilson of Mystic, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one sister: Mary Evans of Tifton, Georgia. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
