Ted Lee Poole, 73, Chesterfield, IN died December 18, 2012 at his residence after an extended illness.
Ted was born July 30, 1939 in Anderson to Obie and Goldie (Lewis) Poole.
He lived in Alexandria and Anderson area many years.
He was a farmer for 30 years and a school bus driver for 5 years.
He enjoyed horse racing, camping, fishing and boating.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jeannette (Golden) of Chesterfield whom he married June 3, 1962 in Alexandria; his three children Lynn (Mike) Silvey of Pendleton; Roger L. Poole of Chesterfield; Gayle (Jason) Hicks of Anderson; eight siblings Ruby Painter of Middletown; Margie Berdusco of New Castle; Irene Poole Beeman of Anderson; Patsy (Jim) Hodson of Middletown; Essie Poole of Chesterfield; Eddie (Karen) Poole of Middletown; Clyde (Darlene) Poole;Ricky (Jerrie) Poole of Anderson; four grandchildren; Brandon Silvey (fiancée Sarah James) J.D. Silvey; Curtis Silvey; Dylan Hicks; sisters-in-law, Joan Golden; Carol Hobbs; Naomi (Bob) McCurdy; Darlene (Ron) Garner; several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Ruth Spies, Janie Poole Bell; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Jones; Imogene Baugher and brother-in-law Joe Golden.
Service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 22 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Jerry Young officiating. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria.
Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
