Obituary

Leicester – Jean-Paul Rodrique, 75, of Leicester, died on Wednesday, December 19th in the UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after a brief illness.

Mr. Rodrique was born in Worcester, son of the late Stanislaus and Marie Rose (Doucette) Rodrique and was married to Corana J. (Beauregard) Rodrique for 41 years until her passing in May 2006.

Jean-Paul is survived by two sons, Jean-Paul “J.P.” Rodrique and his spouse Jeff Sekscenski of Uxbridge and Jessie Rodrique and his wife Amy of Leicester; a daughter, Jacqueline Puglisi and her husband Severino of Leominster; three brothers, Albert Rodrique of Worcester, George Rodrique of Lady Lake, FL and Phil Rodrique of Cataumet, MA; two sisters, Theresa Lessard of Ridge Manor, FL and Eva Donovan of Millbury; five grandchildren, Gabriella, Mia, Luca, Taylor and Jillian and many nephews and nieces.

Mr. Rodrique is predeceased by a brother, Wilfrid Rodrique who died in April and two sisters, Yvette Rockwood who died in 2005 and Mary Beth Rodrique.

He served in the United States Air Force and worked for Euro American Air Freight Forwarding Company for over 40 years as a warehouse manager and truck driver and retired in 2006. He was a member of St. Pius X Church, Knights of Columbus Leicester Council and Teamsters Local 170.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the 7th Floor ICU at the UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus for the exceptional care that Jean-Paul received during his stay.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 22nd from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street Worcester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Pius X Church 1161 Main St. Leicester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are on Friday, December 21st from 4 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
