Obituary

MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA: Paul Richard Enos, 81, resident of Manchester-by-the-Sea and Amelia Island, FL passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 3, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Niland) Enos.
Born on January 12, 1931, he was the son of the late Walter and Catherine (Callahan) Enos. He grew up in Medford. Paul was a Golden Eagle graduated from Boston College in 1952. He was a U.S. Marine and combat veteran of the Korean War.
Paul was an executive in the insurance industry retiring in 1997 as a Senior Vice President of Wausau Insurance Companies. During his successful career he and his family lived in New York, California and Wisconsin. He traveled around the world and was not only a highly respected leader but recognized for his integrity; viewed as an inspiration to many people with whom he worked. He was also an avid tennis player.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Elaine Quinn and her husband John of Manchester-by-the-Sea; a son Richard Enos of New York City; three grandchildren, Eliott Hunter-Enos and Katharine Hunter-Enos both of Kent, England and Caroline Quinn of Manchester-by-the-Sea; two brothers, Walter Enos of Brookline and Robert Enos and his wife Barbara of Centerville; a sister Carol Keane of Natick and many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed.
A family funeral Mass was held in the Sacred Heart Church, Manchester-by-the-Sea.
