Williams, Paula Louise (Day), 59, passed away December 17, 2012 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. Paula was a Catholic by faith and worked for the Louisville Police Department in the Traffic Control Office. She was a member of the Teamsters Local 783 and past member of Teamsters Local 89. A beloved mother, grandmother and friend who loved to travel. Her generous spirit and unique laugh will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her daughters, Lee Marie and Sarah Lee.
Survivors include her loving children, Angela Smith (Mark), Laura Cooper Green (Roy), Susan Messina Miller (Bill), and Glynn Powers, Jr. (Kelly); grandchildren, Kelsey, Kaley, Quinn, Anthony, Mitchell, Angelina, Glynn, III and Sarah; brothers, Charles Day and Irish O’leary.
Funeral mass will be 10am Friday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3509 Taylor Blvd with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-8 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
