Bow– Addison E. “Andy” Grant, 77, died December 15, 2012 at Westwood Care & Rehabilitation following a brief illness.
He was born in Concord on August 2, 1935 the son of Reuben and Thelma (Estes) Grant.
He had been a shop steward for the Breznar Tannery in Pennacook. He served his country in the National Guard.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and watching the Red Sox and Patriots. His greatest love was spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Family members include his wife of 51 years, Helen “Pat” Grant of Bow, 2 sons, Brian T. Grant and his wife Lori of New Hartford, NY., Christopher M. Grant of Contoocook, 1 daughter, Laura Soucek and her husband, Mike of Laconia. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Autumn, Danielle, Ryan, Denny, Devin, Brittany, Savannah, Tyler, Caleb, Aliyah, Riley, and great grandchildren, Josh and Hailey. He was predeceased by a brother, Albert Grant.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. The funeral will take place at 11 AM in the funeral home following calling hours. Burial will be in the spring in Alexander Cemetery in Bow.
