Pauline F. Laperle 81 of Morse Ave. died Friday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Urbain F. Laperle. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Amanda (Brodeur) Croteau. Pauline was a homemaker and spent much of her time babysitting. She enjoyed playing bingo and traveling.
Pauline is survived by three sons, Ronald Laperle of CO, Michael Laperle of Woonsocket with whom she lived, and Fernand Laperle of OH, seven daughters Jeanne Bis of Manville, Joyce Laperle of Woonsocket, Doe Whitlock and Ann Bragg both of CT, Claire Reed and Holly Dunn both of TN and Carol Yehle of N. Smithfield, a brother Fernand Croteau; of Woonsocket, two sisters Aurore Lawrence of Manville, and Theresa Badeau of CT, nineteen grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Ernest, Donald, Gerald, Wilfred, and Normand Croteau, Yvette Doyon, Dorilla St. Pierre, and Irene Gauthier.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 Am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Church, South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 PM.
