Autrey "ART" Richardson, age 76, of Douglas, Ga passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the V A Medical Center in Gainesville, FL, following an extended illness. Mr. Richardson was born October 22, 1936 to the late Noah Richardson and Minnie Dale Joiner Richardson.
Survivors include his wife: Rachael Richardson; Son: Autry Dewayne (Diane) Richardson of Douglas, GA; 2 Daughters: Vicki Burk of Valdosta, GA; and Cindy Diane Richardson (Neil) McLaurie; 2 Brothers: Plesant Richardson, Delware; and Tillman Richardson, Stark FL; 1 Sister: Dot Blevins, Jacksonville, FL; 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; 2 step-sons Wayne Taylor, Cleveland, TN; Brian Taylor and one Step-daughter Patsy Murray. He was preceeded in death by sister: Ava Nell Richardson and Grandson, Wayne Richardson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2:00 P M at Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with interment at Lax Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery, Lax GA.
