Merna Kathleen (Field) Wheeler, 82, passed away on December 14, 2012 in Beverly Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Frederick J. Wheeler.
Born on May 6, 1930 in Juniper, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Kathleen (Milbury) Field. Merna had been a local real estate broker and an appraiser for many years prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Robert and Gail Wheeler of Danvers, granddaughters; Stacy Dunn and her husband Sean of Danvers, Jodi Fish and her husband Peter of Danvers, five great grandchildren; Brittany, Emma and Zachary Dunn and Bobby and Thomas Fish and her brother Gerald Field of Canada. She was predeceased by a brother Douglas Field.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in Holy Trinity Methodist Church, 16 Sylvan St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody. Visiting hours are Monday from 5-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Memorial donations may be made in Merna’s name to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
