Zyta A. (Widuch) Wierzbicki, 71, formerly of Webster, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the UMass/Memorial Hospital, University Campus , in Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 49 years; Kazimierz Wierzbicki, and a daughter; Dr. Margaret Kacprzak wife of Dr. Kris Kacprzak of Northborough, 2 sisters; Maria of Germany and Rozalia of Poland, she was predeceased by a sister Zofia and 2 brothers; Stanislaus and Mieczyslaw.
Zyta was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester and enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, reading entertaining and travelling.
She was born in Slemien, Poland, a daughter of Jozef and Teresa (Stanik) Widuch and came to the United States over 20 years ago. Zyta was a Registered Nurse in Poland for many years.
The Funeral will be Monday, December 17, 2012 with a Mass at 11 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery.
Calling Hours for Zyta will be Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St.
