Bebe Vera Owen, 91, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday December 12, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Owen was born in London, England on March 30, 1921, a daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Tooke) Lewis. Mrs. Owen enjoyed reading and writing poetry, loved parties and spending time with her family. She was a devoted Christian woman and proudly served in the Royal Air force during World War II in England.
She is survived by a daughter, Christine Ginchereau and her husband Robert; four sons, Michael Owen and his wife Lynn, Barry Owen and his wife Susan, Mark Owen and his wife Catherine, Christopher Owen and his wife Kathleen. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, her sister, Dorothy Robinson, and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a private family service will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
