Mitchell Hall, 78, of Nashville died Friday, December 14, 2012, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Nashville Memorial Gardens. Kenny Nichols, James Mauldin, David Edge, Jim Hall and Wade Kenworthy will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Hall was born on September 20, 1934 in Irwin County and was the son of Jessie Hall and Mattie Cribb Hall, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Combs Hall; one son, Paul Hall; and two brothers. He was a retired mechanic.
Mr. Hall is survived by five sons, Darrell Hall of Nashville, Mitchell Hall of Troy, Alabama, Donald Hall of Douglas, Mitchell Hall of Douglas and John Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; two daughters, Betty Rewis of Douglas and Kay Hall of Valdosta; three brothers, Buck Hall of Ocilla, Bud Hall of Fitzgerald and Chester Hall of Willacoochee; three sisters, Sally Luke, Shirley Griner and Myrtice Brown, all of Willacoochee; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
