Kappesser, Kenneth, 80, of Louisville passed away Tuesday December 11, 2012 at the Jewish Hospital.
Kenneth was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of St. James Church and a retired machinist for American Air Filter/Famco. He was an accomplished professional guitarist & past member of the Musicians Union.
Preceded in death by his parents, Helena & Arthur Kappesser; brother, Arthur Earl Kappesser.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Nina (Gentry) Kappesser; four children, Nancy Felker (Terry), Cindy Davis (Larry), Sally Kappesser and Ronnie Kappesser (Kim); ten grandchildren, Josh, Jesse, Morgan, Meredith, Erin, Amanda, Andrew, Kenny, Ashley & Norman; nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Michael Kappesser; & three nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 – 8:00 pm Friday.
