AUBURN___Suzanne E. (Benedict) Joslyn, 65, of 99 Boyce St., died Wednesday June 23 in Holy Trinity Nursing Center, Worcester, surrounded by her family.
She leaves her husband, Donald J. Joslyn, Sr., and her children, Donald J. Joslyn, Jr., and his wife, Nancy, Cathleen S. Groleau, Timothy W. Joslyn and his wife, Suzanne, Sharon M. Trigiano and her husband, Wayne; 12 grandchildren, Laurie (Joslyn) Griffin, Michael and Lindsey Joslyn, Andrew, Adria, and Timothy Groleau, Patrick, Daniel and Samantha Joslyn and Ben, Maria and Samuel Trigiano and one great-granddaughter, Grace Joslyn Griffin, a brother, William R. Benedict and his wife Margaret and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester in 1939 to Samuel and Helen (Lang) Benedict. For the last three years of her illness her caregivers were her neice, Sheila (Benedict) Golden and her granddaughter Adria Groleau.
Suzanne worked as Treasurer at Ace Temperature Control, Inc., of Worcester many years. She and her husband founded the company in 1963. She was a graduate of North High School. Suzanne and her husband enjoyed traveling in their motor coach around the country.
The funeral will be held on Monday June 28 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Sunday June 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Auburn Visiting Nurse Association, 191 Pakachoag St., Auburn, 01501.
