Jack Wayne Reed, 65, of Palmyra, TN, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born on November 16, 1947 in Jacksonville, North Carolina to the late Guy C. Reed and Rebecca Beam Reed. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Reed and Dale Reed.
A private service will be held at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY.
Jack was a retired U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the DAV.
He is survived by his wife of forty years, Susan Harper Reed of Palmyra, TN; two sons, Jack Reed, Jr. and Charles Reed; two brothers, David (Joan) Reed and William (Annamarie) Reed; and one grandson, Jackson Reed.
