Phyllis M. (Boyle) Walton, 79, of Methuen, passed away Monday, December 10th, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Thomas F. Walton.
She was born in Lowell, on December 11, 1932. A daughter of the late Peter J. and Mary E. (Finnegan) Boyle. Mrs. Walton graduated from the Lowell Schools.
She was a communicant of Saint Monica's Church in Methuen, MA.
Surviving is a son, Thomas F. Walton, Jr. of Haverhill; daughter Judith F. Casagrande and her husband William of Methuen; grandson William Thomas Casagrande of Methuen; a sister Beverly A. and Gerald Pennaman of Pelham, NH and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
She was predeceased by a sister Helen E. MacDonald and brothers David, John (Skippy), and Peter Boyle.
In her retirement years, Mrs. Walton enjoyed spending time with her grandson playing cards (45's) and accompanying him on midmorning breakfasts. She also enjoyed spending time with her son, daughter, and sister, shopping and laughing frequently. For dinner it was a rarity if she was not with her friends at their favorite restaurants, or spending time at the beach. She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
