Dieudonne Occeus (90) of Brockton died in her home Dec 10th. She was the widow of the late Marceau Brutus.
She was born in Marchand Dessalines, Haiti Daughter of the late Occeant and Acela Dessalines Occeus. Dieudonne enjoyed watching soap operas, listening to Haitian radio and singing gospel music.
Survivors include her two Daughters Marie J. Olivier of Brockton with whom she made her home and Paule Marie Dempaire of Malden, 4 Sons Charles Occeus of Haiti, Jacques, Jean Emmanuel and Pierre Emmanuel Brutus all of Boston, a Sister Victoire Dessalines of Haiti, 18 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held in the New Jerusalem Church, 183 Norfolk St, Dorchester Saturday Dec 22nd at 10 am. Burial will be in the Muncipal Cemetery in Marchand Dessalines Haiti on Monday Dec 24th. Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St Brockton Friday Dec 21st from 5-9 pm.
