Norma E. (Bonneau) Richard, 74, of New Bedford died December 10, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Edgar Richard.
Born in Dartmouth, the daughter of the late Ernest and Helena (Carter) Bonneau, she lived in Freetown before moving to New Bedford 15 years ago.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Purgatory Church.
Mrs. Richard was the proprietor of R&R Club and was formerly employed by Cyclone Cleaners and Bunny Manufacturing.
She enjoyed her animals, trips to casinos and dog tracks and watching the Boston Red Sox.
Survivors include her lifelong companion, Adeline Riley of New Bedford; a sister, Florence Bonneau of Dartmouth; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Robert Bonneau.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Friday, December 14th at 9 AM followed by her Divine Liturgy at 10 AM in Our Lady of Purgatory Church. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, December 13th from 4-7 PM.
