Edward J. Twomey, 62, passed away on December 9. 2012 in the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.
Born in Salem on March 4, 1950, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Catherine (Lally) Twomey. Eddie was raised and educated in Danvers. He attended St. Mary of the Annunciation School and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1969. He studied Culinary Arts at Essex Agricultural School in Danvers. Most recently Eddie had been a bus driver for Atlantic Express driving disabled adults.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Twomey and Cathleen Twomey, both of Lawrence.
A Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9AM on Thursday, December 13, 2012 in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting Hours are Wednesday from 5-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Edward’s name to Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830.
