FOWLER, Steven Dale, 59, slipped away from us Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was a 29 year employee of the Kentucky State Fair Grounds as an Exposition Sales Manager. He oversaw the Nationally Famous Farm and Machinery Show, Commercial Exhibits, and the outside concessions and purveyors for the Kentucky State Fair each year. He was a man with an extreme whit, high intelligence, incredible artistic ability, a musical talent that gave him the prowess to excel at any instrument he decided to pick up and play, and he was an outstanding athlete in his younger years. He will be missed by those who loved him and truly understood him.
Steven is preceded in death by his mother, Deloris Ann (Frazier) Fowler whom he loved dearly and his grandparents.
Survivors include his father, Don Fowler; brother, Tim Fowler; sister, Vanessa Fowler; nephew, Evan Fowler; niece, Marissa Fowler, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, two ex-wives and a host of ex girlfriends!.... LOL !
A funeral service will be held 12pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Monday 11-8 at the funeral home.
