Obituary

Marilyn Goldthwait, a lifelong resident of Winchester, passed away Dec. 5, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Crawford and Ruth (Abbey) Goldthwait. Ms. Goldthwait was a 1947 graduate of Winchester High School, and the Connecticut College for Women. During her career as an administrator, she was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Boston University and as Director of Publications at Massachusetts Bay Community College. She had also worked at the Winchester Public Library. In her spare time, Marilyn, known by friends for her great wit, loved to walk and spend time gardening. She was also known as a generous and loving person who especially loved cats and all animals, including her own cat Max. She was the dear sister of John Goldthwait of Topanga, CA, and the late Janet Goldthwait. A Funeral Service will be held in the Winchester Unitarian Church, 478 Main St., Winchester, on Wed. Dec. 12th at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
