Theresa (St. Onge) Kelly, 91, of Bedford, died December 6, 2012 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on May 8, 1921 to Emile and Clarina (Lussier) St. Onge. She was a high school graduate of the Urseline Convent in Stanstead, Quebec, Canada and a college graduate of Hesser College in Manchester.
Theresa worked as a typist at Sundial Shoe Company in Manchester for five years and at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY for two years. After returning to Manchester in 1953 she became co-owner and vice president of the John W. Kelly Insurance Agency where she also served as bookkeeper and secretary for 35 years.
She was a member of the Manchester Country Club and the Insurance Women’s Association. She enjoyed dining at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant and at Blakes Restaurant both in Manchester.
In 2003 she was predeceased by her husband, John W. “Jack” Kelly Jr. and her brother, Maurice St. Onge.
The family includes many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
