HISLOPE, Elizabeth Ann “Butchie” (Armstrong), 71, passed away December 5, 2012 at Baptist East Hospital. Butchie was a Baptist by faith and a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy and George Armstrong.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, J. Darrell Hislope; daughters, Tonya Turner (Eddie) and Dawn Renee Schmidt (Paul); granddaughter, Samantha Schmidt; sister, Emogene Stivers (Jerry); several nieces and nephews; and her sweet dog, Shadow.
Funeral service will be 11am Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 1-8 at the funeral home.
