Obituary

WORCESTER___Mary E. "Mamie" (Pigoga) Anusauskas, 90, formerly of 39 Providence St., died Tuesday June 22 in Radius Health Care, Millbury. Her husband of 55 years, Alexander J. Anusauskas died Feb. 12, 1993.

She leaves a son, George A. Anusauskas and his wife, Barbara A. of Worcester; a grandson, George A. Anusauskas and his wife Catherine of Grafton; and great-granddaughters, Elizabeth, Allison and Samantha; a granddaughter, Mary-Beth Hughes and her husband, Stephen of Leicester and great-grandchildren, Madison and Colin; and granddaughters, Susan E. and Katherine G. of Worcester; a daughter, Eleanor M. wife of Stephen V. Walinsky, Jr., of Millbury died Jan. 13, 2004. She also leaves a grandson, Mark S. Walinsky and his wife Kathleen of Avon, Co., a granddaughter, Lynne M. Jalbert and her husband Michael of Oxford and great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Andrew and Rebecca and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, John Pigoga and two sisters, Eva Cotsidas and Genevieve Kemble. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph and Agatha (Javaisus) Pigoga and lived here most of her life.

Mrs. Anusauskas graduated from Commerce High School. She was skilled in knitting and crocheting and enjoyed reading and bingo. She was a member of St. Casimir's Church and its Women's Guild and Knights of Lithuania Council 26.

The funeral will be held on Thursday June 24, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 1 p.m. in St. Casimir's Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
