Bronislaw Forys, age 96, passed away after a full life on December 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Albina Szala Forys, his daughter and son in law, Margaret and Alan Nummy of Southampton Ma; his son and daughter in law, Michael and Susan Forys of Chicopee MA. Bron has four grandchildren, Benjamin (Joanna) Nummy of Winnetka, IL, Katherine (James ) Plourde of Brentwood, TN, Brendan Forys of NYC, Sean (NIcole) Forys of Springfield, MA., and five lively great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Stanley Forys and his niece, Frances (David) St Onge. Bron retired from the American Bosch after 43 years as a Supervisor of Production Planning and Inventory Control. He is a graduate of Northeastern University and served in the US Army during World War II. Bron greatly enjoyed travel, golf and caring for his family. He is deeply missed. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place on Monday December 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam
