Frank Fisichelli second generation owner and operator of Fisichelli's Pastry Shop passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 4th, 2012, holding hands with his loving and devoted daughter Nina.
Born in Lawrence on February 4th, 1927 to Orazio and Lena (Gallo) Fisichelli, Frank was educated in the Lawrence Public Schools and left the Lawrence High School Class of 1945 in February to enlist in the Navy and served on the USS Topeka based in San Diego during World War II.
Upon completing his military obligations Frank went to work for Modern Pastry in Boston's North End and completed a three month cake decorating course at Wilton's in Chicago before joining his family business which he nurtured and ran for over 40 years. The Bakery was Frank's true passion
Frank retired in 1992 and moved to Fort Myers Beach, Florida with is his wife Lois.
Frank was predeceased by his wife and Nina's mother Muriel in 1974 and by his lifelong friend James Martone in February of this year.
He is survived by his wife Lois and her children Debbie, Missy and Todd along with grandchildren Bill and Abby.
His brother Dr. Edward Fisichelli and his wife Monique and their family. He is also survived by his daughter Nina and her husband Tim and his grandsons Tim, Jeffrey, Patrick, Evan and of course Max.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 10th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Michael Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
