Tommie Iona Williamson, 81, of Houston County, Georgia, died December 4, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Salem Cemetery in Ben Hill County with Brother Jimmy Revell and Brother Fred McCoy officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Kaye Dennard.
Ms. Williamson was born June 3, 1931 in Ben Hill County to the late George William Luke and Elsie Mae Dillard Luke. Ms. Williamson was a homemaker and a former employee of Fitzgerald Underwear and Alaphabet Express in Houston County. She was a member of Houston Lake Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter: Kaye Dennard of Kathleen, Georgia; grandchildren: Paula Spurling Harper of Kathleen, Georgia, Lisa and Michael Dewitt of Perry, Georgia, Ray Causey of Gray, Georgia and Paulette Causey of Kathleen, Georgia; five great-grandchildren: Alisyn Harper, London Causey, Dallas Causey, Olivia Causey and Alexis Jones and a sister: Willie Ve Williamson of Abbeville, Georgia. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Paul A. Williamson; daughter: Annette Causey and a brother: J.D. Luke.
