Rosalie A. (Pineau) Tarini, 72, of New Bedford died Tuesday December 4, 2012 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility. She was the wife of Ramon P. Tarini.
Born in Acushnet, the daughter of the late Leo and Marie Emilia (Bellefleur) Pineau, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
Rosalie worked for many years at the Aerovox Corporation.
She enjoyed bowling at the Bowlmor Lanes. She received much joy from her family life.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Carlo D. Tarini and his wife Diane DiNardo of Beverly; two sisters, Ricci Pineau of Santa Cruz, CA, and Muriel Morris of Fairhaven; her father-in-law, Primo Tarini of New Bedford; her Godchildren, Ryan Tarini and Michael Pineau; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Lawrence Church. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 4-7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
