Obituary

NORTH BROOKFIELD: Wallace B. Kennedy, 78, of New Braintree Road died Monday, Dec. 3 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 34 years, A. Marion (Makynen) Kennedy, two step-sons Vic J. Vangel and his wife Susan of Paxton and George N. Vangel and his wife Lisa of Brooklyn, CT, two sons Joseph Kennedy and his wife Dana and Wallace McCarthy both of Vermont, 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister Karen Nivala.

Mr. Kennedy was born in Worcester, son of Robert and Lydia N. (Person) Kennedy. He was a salesman for many years at Lawson Products retiring in 2011. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed Formula 1 racing and the New England Patriots.

The Funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 6 at 11:00 AM in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial with Military Honors will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Central MA Chapter for Homeless Veterans, 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
