SPENCER: Ann M. (O’Toole) Richard 76, of Grant St., died Monday, Dec. 3 at home, following a long illness.
She was the wife of Donald F. Richard who died in 2002. She leaves two daughters Nancy A. Richard of Spencer with whom she lived, and Patricia A. Geer and her husband Phillip of Spencer, a son John R. Richard and his wife Donna-Lee of Warren, a brother James E. O’Toole of Wilkonsonville, Ma., three grandchildren Benjamin, Thomas & Ashlee, two nieces and one nephew. She is predeceased by her brother Edward A. O’Toole, Jr. of Worcester.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Edward A. and Dorothy M. (Hollbrook) O’Toole, Sr. and lived in Oxford and Worcester before moving here in 1967.
She graduated from St. Stephen’s High School and the Salter Secretarial School both in Worcester. She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a “Liturgy of the Word” at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30a.m., preceding the church service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Mary, Queen of the Rosary Memorial Fund, 60 Maple St., Spencer, 01562 or Worcester V.N.A.
