Hoyt, James W., 59, of Bogota, died Friday in a workplace accident in Pearl River, NY, when a large crate of computer equipment fell and pinned him as he and others were trying to move the crate from one truck to another. Hoyt grew up in Kansas City and later moved to New Orleans, where he became a plant manager for Bunge Corp. He subsequently moved to Teaneck and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. He is survived by two brothers: Michael Hoyt, of Teaneck and Tim Hoyt of Overbrook, KS; as well as four sisters: Mary T. Durkin, of Chicago; Mary Jo Hoyt, of Maplewood; Anne Hoyt, of New York City and Sarah Hoyt of New York, NY. A memorial visiting will be Friday 10-11 AM with an 11 AM Memorial Mass at St. Anastasia's RC Church, Teaneck, NJ.
