Maria A. “Mary” Vardaro, 86 of Medford, died Monday after a long illness in the Woodbriar of Wilmington, Wilmington, MA.
Born in Italy she lived in Medford since 1962 and formerly of Everett. She was the daughter of the late Almerinda (Raimondi) and Joseph Pesa. Mary was a Clerk at the former Caldor in Malden for many years and retired in 1990.
Beloved wife of the late Nicola Vardaro. Devoted mother of Rose Marie Huska and her husband Mark of Whitman, Annette Vardaro and her fiancé Trent Alexis of Medford. Loving grandmother of Kristin, Jennifer and Stephanie. Sister of the late Carlo Pesa. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
