Obituary

George Andreotes, age 57, died peacefully on Sunday morning, December 2, 2012, surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Anyone who knew George can attest that he gave each and every one of us his hope, courage, strength, and reminded us to persevere through any of life’s challenges. He loved the beach, was a computer enthusiast, and enjoyed spending time with family.

George was a dedicated employee of FedEx giving more than 20 years of service, a devoted Eucharistic Minister at Good Shepherd’s Parish in Wayland, and a loyal and proud member of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Massachusetts.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Denise (Walsh) Andreotes; one son, Christopher Andreotes and his wife Colleen (Grady); his mother, Stassia Andreotes all of Natick MA; his sister, Gale (Andreotes) DiRusso and her husband Carl of Framingham MA; and brother Charles Andreotes and his wife Diane (Latino) of Needham MA. He was the son of the late William Andreotes formerly of Watertown. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street (at Natick Common), Natick, on Thursday, December 6th from 3-8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Parish of the Good Shepherd at St. Zepherin’s Church, 99 Main St. (Rt. 27) Cochituate Village. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in George’s honor to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Avenue, Suite 6, Waltham MA 02451.
