Obituary

Alex P. Liatsos age 80, of Brockton, died Sunday December 2, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. He was the devoted husband of Antigoni (Nasis) Liatsos. Alex was born and raised in Greece a son of the late Kostantinos and Gianoula Liatsos. He immigrated to the United States and settled in Brockton in 1973.

Fifteen years ago Alex retired from Cape Cod/Cricket Clothing in West Bridgewater after 19 years of service. He had been an active member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton. In his free time, Alex enjoyed watching all Boston sports teams, especially the Celtics. He will be remembered as a quiet man whose true joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Alex was the father of Charlie Liatsos of Brockton and Jo-Ann (Liatsos) Quirke of Norton and the grandfather or “Papou” of Brianna and Abigail Quirke.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 4-7 pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 am for a Funeral Service at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 457 Oak Street, Brockton, MA at 11 am.
