H. Charlotte (Sarrasin) Lamontagne 88, a long time city resident, died Tuesday, November 27, in the Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Centre. She was the wife of the late Raymond Lamontagne. Mrs. Lamontagne was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Philippe and Auglore (Pratte) Sarrasin. She was an alumna of the RI College of Pharmacy, and worked as a Registered Pharmacist in Pratte’s drugstore as well as other area pharmacies and in California as well. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Association.
She was an animal lover, avid reader, and enjoyed travel and accompanying her husband Raymond on his numerous fishing trips. Mrs. Lamontagne is survived by her step daughter Yvette August of Greenville, her cousins Jeannette Baldelli of Woonsocket, Michelle Collin of Vernon, CT, and her aunt Emilienne Theriault of North Smithfield.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, at 10:00AM in Holy Family Church, South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
