TATE, ROBERT HAROLD "BOB," 91, passed away on November 29, 2012.
Bob was a retired manager for Project Construction Manager and the Special Construction Department with LG&E, a member of Fern Creek United Methodist Church, a Marine veteran of World War II, and a member of the Hazelwood Masonic Lodge in Beechmont, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Forest Tate, Sr. and Elnora (Bridges) Tate; brothers, Charles F. Tate, Jr. and his wife Juanita, James Tate and his wife Helen, and his sister, June Wagner.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 years, Verna (Pyle) Tate; and his son, Rev. R. Gregory Tate and his wife, Arlene.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 -4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday.
