Obituary

Clinton H. Johnson, 79, of Thornton Street, Greenville, died November 16, 2012, at Sagrado Corazon Sevilla in Sevilla, Spain. He was the husband of the late Winifred T. (Fallon) Johnson.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Clinton H. and Dorothy L. (Oliver) Johnson. He resided in Cranston for most of his life, and had lived in Greenville for the past 26 years. Before retiring, he was the owner of the former Westcott Slade and Balcom in Warwick. He had most recently worked at the Johnston Senior Center and previously at the Pocasset Lodge.
He was a Marine Veteran from 1952-1955. Clint was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He loved spending time with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna Walker and her husband, Michael of North Providence and his granddaughters: Stephanie and Alyssa. He was the father of the late David Johnson and the brother of the late Shirley Annon.
Funeral service Wednesday at 11:00 am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Operation Stand Down, 1010 Hartford Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919.
