Rita Gauthier, 90, of Coderre Drive, Bellingham, died Friday, November 30, 2012 at home. She was the wife of the late Gerard Gauthier. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Elcee and Rose (Riendeau) Rainville.
Rita had worked in various area mills but she was primarily a homemaker. She was also a Communicant of St. Theresa’s Church, Blackstone.
She is survived by her four children, Marcel Gauthier and Irene Gauthier with whom she lived, Pauline Falardeau and her husband Ernest of Millville, and Rose Lapinski of Pawtucket, her sisters Cecile Cote of North Smithfield and Therese Laquerre of Woonsocket, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Clement, Edmond and Roland Rainville and her son in law, Paul Lapinski.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Theresa’s Church, Rathbun St, Blackstone, at 10:00AM on Wednesday, December 5th. The family will welcome guests at the church beginning at 9:30AM. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
