Obituary

Worcester- Frances J. (Caika) Kaminski, 81, of Worcester, died Sunday, June 20, in UMass-Memorial Medical Center- University Campus.

Her husband, Francis J. Kaminski, died in 1983. She leaves a son, Kenneth F. Kaminski and his wife Marie, of Holden; two daughters, Linda F. Aho and her husband John of Holden, and Donna M. Laramee and her husband Kenneth of Leicester; a brother, Stanley Caika of Millbury; two sisters, Sophie Demarski of Worcester and Irene DiPadua of Shrewsbury; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Frank and Josephine (Piosto) Caika and lived here all her life.

Mrs. Kaminski was a sales clerk at R.H. White Co. and later at Denholm & McKay Department Store, for many years, retiring in 1972.

She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish, and its Women’s Club, the Legion of Mary Society, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Polish American Veterans of World War II.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, June 23, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 Tuesday, June 22, in the funeral home.
