Obituary

Mr. Mark L. “Whitey” White a resident of North Andover, formerly of Andover died at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill on Wednesday evening, November 28, 2012. He was 56 years old.
Born in Litchfield, Illinois, he was the beloved son of Shirley (Coombs) White of Florida and the late Delmar White. Mark was employed by the Town of Andover for many years on the Cemetery Department, Parks Department & Tree Department.  Whitey banded Hawks for the US Federal Government Fish & Wildlife Service. In his spare time Mr. White enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He also enjoyed wildlife photography.
Besides his loving mother, Shirley, Mark will be very sorely missed by his girlfriend; Sheila A. McAllister of North Andover, daughter; Christie L. Blaine of North Andover, grandchildren; Fallon and Ryan Blaine, brother Scott White of Lawrence, one niece, two nephews and many cousins.
His memorial service was celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 4 PM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Calling hours were held on Saturday, prior to the service, from 2 to 4 PM. Interment was private.
