Sandra Kay Watkins, 59, of Fitzgerald, died November 29, 2012, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P. M., Sunday, December 2, 2012, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Pedro Martinez & Terry Pope, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7-9 at the funeral home.
Sandra was born October 16, 1953 in La Porte, Indiana. She was a former resident of Webster, Florida moving to the community in 1986. She was a homemaker and a horse trainer while living in Nebraska. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was very outgoing.
She is survived by a loving companion of 26 years: John Shelton of Fitzgerald, Georgia; two daughters: Catherine & Jimmy Moore of Fitzgerald, Suzy Lee Watkins of Fitzgerald; her father: Leslie Lesuer of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren: Justin Watkins, Haylee Watkins, John Allen Watkins and Jacob Watkins; seven step-children; seventeen step-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her mother Genevieve Lesuer.
