Betty Faye Moseley Winchester, 73, of Smyrna, TN, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at her residence. She was born on July 15, 1939 in Clarksville, TN to the late Woodrow Moseley and Margie Dell Adams Gilmore. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Ann Houghtaling.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 12-4 p.m. and Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Betty was an admissions coordinator for Gateway Medical Center. She graduated from Clarksville High School in 1957 and after high school she traveled extensively in Europe as a U.S. Army spouse. She was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church. She was also a cat lover.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Linda) Brewer of Milford, CT; two daughters, Deana (Sam) Murphy of Smyrna, TN and Sandy (John) Aaron of Cordova, TN; nine grandchildren, Joshua Rider, Jeremy Van Meter, Casey Horn, Katie Horn, Kristina Arden, Sarah Houghtaling, Garrett House, Danielle House, and Jessica Brewer; and six great grandchildren.
