FALL RIVER… Maryanne G. (Fonseca) Greenwood, 65, of Fall River passed away at home Friday June 15, 2012.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Roger and Mariette (Herman) Fonseca and had lived in Fall River for most of her life.
Mrs. Greenwood worked as a C.N.A. for 10 years in the Attleboro, Swansea and Somerset areas. She was an avid animal lover, and would save money to donate to various animal shelters.
Survivors include a daughter: Ginger Leona Rayner and her husband Shawn of New Bedford, a son: Randy Knarr and his wife Lori of Fall River, a sister: April Massey of Memphis, TN, a brother: Kim Fonseca, 4 grandchildren: Nicholas Rayner, Pagie Rayner, and Liam Knarr , Kaitlin Karppinen a dear Uncle Billy Dolan , several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Roger Fonseca.
Memorial celebration to which relatives and friends are invited will be held June 30, 2012 at 11 AM at St. Michael’s Club 63 Webster Street, Fall River. Inurnment will be private.
