BRIDGEWATER - David L. Martell, 74, of Bridgewater, formerly of Quincy, died Sunday, June 20, 2004, at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Jacqueline A. (Jepsen) Martell.
Born and raised in Quincy, he was a son of the late Archibald and Flavia (Gustafson) Martell.
Mr. Martell was a graduate of Quincy schools and was a retired sheet metal worker with Local No. 17 out of Boston for 40 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Debra Nawazelski of Williamstown; a son, Steven Martell of Kingston; three brothers, Richard, Stan and Warren Martell, all of Massachusetts and three grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
