FALL RIVER…Matilda (Roderiques) L’Heureux, 95, passed away Monday January 30, 2012 at Crawford Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born in New Bedford, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Teixeira) Roderiques and had lived in Fall River for most of her life. She was the widow of Joseph W. L’Heureux. She was a former member of Dartmouth Senior Center and the former member of the American Legion Frank Allen Wilcox Post 126 in Fall River. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, shopping and loved going to yard sales. Survivors include 3 daughters: Maureen Bouchard, Twins Lillian Archambault and Mary Ann L’Heureux all of Fall River, a sister: Albina Arruda of New Bedford, 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Edwards and the late Augusta Martin.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 7:30pm at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River. Calling hours Friday from 5-7:30pm. Interment will be private.
